If you prefer to book our service on a month-to-month basis, you will be charged monthly. However, availability for the next month is not guaranteed.
We confirm our schedule on the 15th of each month, and it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, if someone else books your spot for the following month before you do, your spot will no longer be available.

EK4kids Carpool allows multiple children going to the same school or nearby schools to share one scheduled vehicle. This can make transportation more affordable for families.

2. How is the carpool price calculated?

The total route/vehicle quote is divided by the number of children sharing the ride. The more children sharing the same route, the lower the individual cost may be.

3. What is the difference between Door-to-Door and Zone Carpool?

Door-to-Door: We pick up and drop off each child at their home.

Zone Carpool: Parents bring their child to a designated neighborhood pickup location, and EK4kids transports the group to school.

4. Can I choose my pickup location?

For Zone Carpool, EK4kids will work with participating families to select a safe and convenient pickup location within the service zone.

5. How many children can share one car?

The number depends on the vehicle, seating configuration, route, and applicable safety requirements. EK4kids will confirm the appropriate vehicle for each route.

6. Will my child ride with the same children every day?

The goal is to keep children on a consistent route with the same group whenever possible. Changes may occur when families change schedules or routes.

EK4kids aims to provide a consistent driver whenever possible. A trained backup driver may be assigned when the regular driver is unavailable.

8. Can I request a specific pickup or drop-off time?

Pickup and drop-off times are based on the school schedule and the most efficient route for all children in the carpool.

9. What happens if my child is absent?

Parents should notify EK4kids according to the company’s cancellation/absence policy. The effect on the monthly carpool price depends on the applicable agreement.

15. What happens if the driver is late or unavailable?

EK4kids has a backup process to help maintain transportation service when a driver is delayed or unavailable.

16. Can siblings ride together?

Yes, when they are traveling on the same route and there is appropriate seating available.

17. Can my child bring a friend?

Only if the additional child is approved and added to the EK4kids schedule. An unscheduled child cannot simply be added to the vehicle.

19. What happens if we don’t have enough children to create the carpool?
