How Your EK4KIDS Driver is Recruited

When it comes to your child or someone else’s child, their safety is vital. When you entrust someone with your child, whether it be a teacher, doctor or babysitter, you do your research. You make sure that person is qualified, licensed, trained and safe. When it is someone providing transportation for your or someone else’s child, the same requirements are still the same.

Knowing how your child’s driver is recruited gives you the peace of mind knowing that the child is safe and in great care. Having a valid driver’s license is not enough. At EK4KIDS, we choose our drivers with the upmost care. Our drivers are carefully selected, as if they were joining a family.

Part of the EK4KIDS certification process for new drivers:

  2. Driver does not have a criminal record. We do the deepest criminal record check legally permissible of the county, state and federal levels everywhere the driver has lived in the last seven years. If we could legally go back further, we would!
  3. Driver is fingerprinted

We fingerprint all of our drivers and perform ongoing background checks in every state where we operate.

  1. Driver has no sex offender record
  2. Driver has a valid driver’s license

We take a copy when we first meet drivers to confirm they are who they say they are.

  1. Our drivers are employees, not contractors
  2. Driver has a clean driving record

We run their driving record when we first meet them and monitor on an ongoing basis.

  1. Drivers company vehicle passes an inspection by a certified mechanic

  3. Driver completes in-person driver orientation
